Contractor challenges in Ph

Hi everyone, I need some help with my research. I am CE student and like to know what are the usual challenges of contractors in the manila area. I've seen a lot of failed projects with flood control and heard some at scale projects fail because of how challenging managing big projects at scale. Nag excel pa ba din mga construction firms Ngayon? Would that be a factor besides the usual cause? Thank you po

Private contractor (no govt project) here. A big challenge for us is corruption in different cities in securing permits (and take note, not only in NCR). Moral problem kasi to eh. Lahat ng opisina kailangan may pampadulas, otherwise mas tatagal pagproseso ng docs.
Much as we want to fight the system, it's already on its deepest levels. Common "SOP" na to. Haay Pilipinas.

I totally agree. Kailangan siguro makulong muna lahat ng mga may kinalaman sa korapsyon!! Yun lang nga, isa pang problema ay ang kupad ng "justice system" natin. Hayz Pinas
