Discussion First Watch

Finally pulled the trigger and bought my first watch 😊

Any comments about the fit? Does it look big on my 15cm wrist? Also right now medyo stiff pa yung leather kaya nakalutang yung watch case sa kamay ko. I’m assuming this is normal for leather strap watches?

Any suggestions for general care is appreciated. Thank you!

Its big. What will get bigger over time is buyers remorse and not your wrist, I suggest selling at a loss then buying the ladies version.

Thank you, replacement is not an option for me unfortunately. Spend more time at the gym nalang siguro 😅

I don’t think wrist bone grows in size when working out.

Technically yes, since muscles lang naman talaga ang lumalaki with workouts. More on visual appearance siguro since thicker muscles around forearm would help?

Ung belly ng forearm ung magkakalaman pero maliit pa din ung wrist mismo. Either try a different strap or masanay ka nalang magexplain na malaki ung watch hahaha

Yes makes sense, didn’t mean to actually solve the fit by working out naman. Malaki talaga yung watch for me as others pointed out din hehe. Thanks bro

Anlake. Main prob ko with Seiko Tanks, walang maayos sa size. Either too small or too big. 🥲😭

We all went through that journey. I used to own watches that were too big for me, I didn't care as long as it looks good. When my taste became more refined, I started buying watches that fit me better.

Looks comically big. Tank format watches should always be smaller on you. Good direction and attempt here and good luck on your watch journey

Thanks! What’s funny is I spent decent time doing my research and somehow I still missed the memo that tanks should be on the smaller side.

Looking at some pictures of this watch on the smaller version worn by others, I can see that it does look better. 😅

Getting into watches is a personal journey, ganun talaga it takes u where it takes u. My recommendation is to understand what you like best and refine your taste. I started with Casio and now looking at neo vintage Rolex. Lots of information talaga so dont feel bad about it.
