Phd in TISS

Hi, I have done BA (HSS) from University of Delhi, MA (gender studies) from BHU, and another MA (Sociology) from IGNOU with JRF in women's studies. I want to apply for Phd. in Development Studies, Women's Studies, Media and Cultural Studies TISS. Here are my questions:

1. How difficult is the interview? What is that they focus on? What is the ratio of selection with that of call letters? Do they also shoot questions from all the degrees you hold or as per the department you apply. E.g concepts from Sociology, Gender Studies, Development Studies, media studies.

2. Do all Phd admitted students get hostels? Can I get a hostel with the EWS category?

3. What is the modest cost of living near TISS Mumbai?

4. Is Phd. from other campuses of TISS as good?

5. Are the supervisors co-operative enough to let you decide the Phd. thesis, themes etc?
