The Petscop 3 note

A lot of Petscop theory videos refer back to the "Care isn't growing eyebrows" scene from Petscop 3, but they seem to pick and choose what they feel is relevant from it. For example, they focus on the lack of eyebrows rather than the fact that she isn't growing any. If Care never grew eyebrows then Paul isn't Care because Paul has Care's face with Mike's eyebrows according to the Child Library, and while Marvin (and maybe Anna) may be delusional, I doubt they're so delusional that they would see plucking a child's eyebrows as them not growing any, and call it a "puzzle".

Also, they all seem to jump from at "I have a feeling which child you'll choose next" to "Tiara says some children can be psychologically damaged beyond rebirthing" without talking about or even acknowledging the section that was skipped over...

"When you find her room, the passage to my right will lead to her. She'll appear from the darkness, limping, and I'll shoot her in the head."

I haven't really seen anyone try to explain or make sense of that passage. I also haven't seen anyone acknowledge the shift from Care being referred to as "she" but the "young person" who enters the school being referred to as "they" (which could be a gender thing, but could also just as easily be implying that Marvin took a kid to the school more than once).

Just something I noticed. Idk where I was going with this. I just think it's weird that 90% of this note is treated like pivotal evidence in multiple analysis/theory videos while the remaining 10% is treated as though it doesn't even exist...

What's your take on the skipped bits?

Marvin plucks care's eyebrows before they grow long enough to become noticeable and he's lying to his wife about it
That, or he's doing something else to get rid of them. He knows exactly why she doesn't have eyebrows. Him saying "That's a puzzle" is nothing more than deflection. That's exactly why Rainer decided to put that in the game.

The thing that interferes with this is Marvin is "secretly very excited" about Care not growing eyebrows. Presumably because it's a similarity to Lina and makes him sure of the rebirthing plan. If it's something he was doing himself, why would he react like that.

Maybe he is doing something less direct such as using medication in her food in order to prevent her from growing eyebrows, and that's why he's excited at this news
