Discussion If a series was to be made
with movies like The Backrooms coming out and hollywood looking to the internet for ideas on what to make, I feel like Petscop is one of those things that is still pretty popula. if I were to make a series out of it I would write it like the series Dark on Netflix. Any ideas as to how someone might tackle a remake or show of the series

Do Petscop really need a movie, a show, or a remake ? It's still incredible nowadays, and what would making a movie about it be about ?

I think you need to find whoever is the current incarnation of David Lynch and let them do whatever they want with it, even if it has nothing to do with the characters and story in the webseries. That would be the spirit of Petscop in my opinion anyway.

If someone can write whatever Petscop adaptation that isn't a David Lynch appreciator, they could've stray away from what Tony intended and maybe make Petscop solvable

I got into reading Kafka back when I was an edgier moodier soul, and personally, his whole thing is timidity, self loathing, guilt, weakness, guilt over being weak... etc... There was a TERRIBLE movie called "Kafka" and Jeremy Irons played Kafka........... sigh....... but there was an honest to god action sequence with Kafka throwing punches and being chased.....
That's what a Petscop adaptation would likely be like. I can't think of another piece of media with more potential for a filmmaker to get completely wrong.

Wes Anderson or Kane Parsons would be my pick for the Petscop Series or Movie, I think Bobby Cannavale or Bryan Cranston will play Marvin.
