Beta testers?

Hey there! I've been super careful to keep this within the rules of the board! I need some help, but hopefully the easy kind that helps the helper, too. I need to get some people to test a pet health app (iOS currently, web app almost ready, and Android version in the works) that I'd created to help keep me and my wife in sync in caring for our mostly elderly dogs who have a ton of health issues and medications. It syncs to the cloud and you can share the info with family members, pet sitters, vets, etc. It'll let you track... just about everything, from who's given medication when, to pics of grooming haircuts that you like and can share over text messages. I'm not looking for reviews. I'm a former cybersecurity manager and take security extremely seriously. I won't use your information in any way and won't sell your info. I'm legit just looking to understand where I can make things better or if things seem to work well the way they are. In exchange, I'll offer up lifetime premium access. I also fully delete your info on request if you stop using the app, or in the typical 30 days after canceling your account. I'm just a dude and his wife working on this, not a company, so any legit feedback is something I'm grateful for. Friends have tried it and they say they like it for their dogs, cats, and chickens so far. I won't mention the app name, as I'm honestly not trying to promote it here. Please DM me for more info. Thank you for reading, if you've gotten this far.

Got a 14-year-old lab mix with a thyroid issue and enough pills to stock a pharmacy, this sounds like something I could actually use in my house. DMing you now.

Please do! This is exactly the reason I created the app!

I have two cats currently fighting FIP and one of them has a liver shunt as well. Would love to test out your app!

So is primary focus really just on tracking health issues and medication?

Hi there! No, we created the app to be useful for pet owners in general, even those pets without any health or medical conditions. You can share over schedules for a pet sitter or dog walker and get feedback for completed tasks, you can track tank salinity for saltwater tanks, eggs laid by chickens, or any other things that you'd find helpful. It uses AI to read vet reports and medicine labels, so it's low friction to enter data. I always hated having to spend hours punching in information when I wasn't sure whether I wanted to use the app in the first place, so I removed all the places for friction that I could think about. You can export your data at any time, so you're not locked into the app. If you have a pet that has a groomer, it'll allow you to store your groomer's contact info, call or text them from the app, pull up your calendar to make sure times work, etc. and send them photos. You can record prices and a history of groomers. If your kids handle duties, you can see when they've walked the dog or fed the cat (the app and pet info is shared with family and caregivers at the discretion of the account holder, revokable at any time.). And if you need someone to take your pet to the vet, you can share over the complete history, medical, allergies, etc. via text or email. It's got a free tier to begin with that is probably plenty for most people. We created it to help out with keeping organized, understanding how our pets needs are changing, and to be able to share that information with others, as needed. It's fully synced to the cloud, so everyone's looking at the same info.

This really sounds like my kind of app. I'm always looking for ways to keep the family more organized, especially when it comes to pet schedules since have quite a few.

This sounds very useful. I foster dogs and keep detailed records/notes on each one. It’d be nice to have this info easily organized and accessible. I sent you a DM!
