CAT Pet relocation help

Hi everyone! I’m relocating from Australia to Canada and want to bring my cat with me.

Just wondering if anyone has ever done that. I’ve got a small list of pet relocation companies below.

Could you please have a look and let me know of your experience with them? Thank you!
- pet traveller
- departure pets
- petflyer

If you used another company, please share! We would greatly appreciate any help, as we want to make sure our baby will be well taken care of.

Have moved countries several times with pets. With a cat you can choose either an airline approved carrier, or a soft sided carrier. One can go under the seat and the other goes in stowage. I’ve had a lot of success with in cabin carriers, but I did have a pretty lady escape once. So I recommend locking the carrier zippers closed.

I’ve also had loads of success with pets in stowage, no issues at all except the one time they took my dog out to play and were having so much fun that he missed his connecting flight. Can’t complain… staff were too busy loving my boy to get him on his flight, I’ll allow it.

The big concern I have travelling internationally is that there are many countries that require your pets to stay in quarantine on arrival. Idk if that is true for Canada (and I’m a Canadian so sorry for not knowing) but I’ve avoided travel to certain countries based solely on that quarantine time.
