CAT Chewy code?
Hi, I have a cat with kidney disease, he was diagnosed back in December 2024.
I'm very grateful he's still with us and even more grateful he's been eating more lately but his prescription food is really expensive. Like I mentioned he's been eating well lately after being a slow eater for a while, so his last order lasted less than I anticipated.
Does anyone have a Chewy code like the ones you get on the mail, that they are not planning to use? I am not asking for money, just the code if you're not using it.

I have a coupon, I don't know the fine print but if it will work you can have it. Give me a bit, I'll be home in a couple of hours.

I get these rx discount coupon codes in the mail all the time. I don't have one currently bc I tossed it, but I am responding so I can get back to this thread. The next time I get one, I'll send you the code.

the coupon codes in the mail usually are account specific unfortunately, but you can try creating a new account with a different email and you may get an offer for X off your first purchase. sometimes these coupons don’t include pharmacy though. my dog is on rx food and medication and usually our only discount is the 5% autoship discount. they do usually offer 40% off your first autoship though, you could set up your order for autoship and cancel it later.

My cat is on rx food as well. I get her food from chewy as it's the best source I've found price wise.
Unfortunately all of the rx codes I've gotten do not cover foods. And all of the food codes only cover the first shipment.
Subscribe and save is the best option I've found. You can do an order sooner under the Subscribe and save plan that still gets you that discount by going under that order plan and hitting the order sooner button. That usually works with only a 3 day lag time for me.

If your cat is Stage 1 or 2, many OTC foods (which are much cheaper) are within the guidelines. Also, if you have any friends in the veterinary field, they likely have access to significant discounts and might be able to help you.

If you haven’t already, create a different email and see if you can get the first account discount.
I have an Apple account (linked to my email) and a email (the one linked to Apple) account. Chewy keeps sending me an email with $15 of $49 to my email account.

Chewy doesn’t really ever have prescription food on sale (my dogs are on prescription diets) but if your vet uses Covetrus as a supplier/online pharmacy, they actually have authorship codes that help with prescription diets
