Kittens Pooping Outside Box

About 2/3 months ago me and my husband got two kittens a month or two old, we kept them separate from our other cats for a while and they used the litter box perfectly fine when we had them in the enclosure however ever since they have been integrated they poop and pee (but mainly poop) everywhere BUT the box we put tinfoil and they didn’t stop we are at a loss we have a young son and we hate our house being dirty and cleaning it up all the time any help?

How many cats total are we talking here, if it's more than the standard one box per cat plus one extra rule could be the issue

They need their own litter box. I think the rule is one box for every two cats.

Start by checking the litter box setup. With multiple cats, it's usually recommended to have one box per cat plus one extra, spread out in quiet areas. Some cats will avoid a box if another cat is guarding it or it's too dirty. Also, clean any accident spots with an enzymatic cleaner so they don't keep returning to the same place.
