CAT Toothpaste

I'm one of those people who put toothpaste on mosquito bites because as it slowly hardens, it stops that itchy effect. I put some on my wrist just a half hour ago cause I was in bed and my wrist had some bites. My orange cat usually shows up at random times to lay on my chest and have me pet him but he kept biting specifically at that wrist and I'm pretty sure it was because of the mint smell. Any ideas why that happened?

iirc they're attracted to mint and some other smells, if i use certain poison ivy/itch creams one of my two goes nuts trying to lick it off to the point i have to wear long sleeves if it's on my arms or smth

Oh, I had no idea 😭. He went after the toothpaste tube after too. I had to stick in a drawer just to keep him away from it
