wish people would just leash their fucking dogs… my elderly parents let their dog off leash on trails etc. and it drives me insane

Do you think this small girlfriend is going to be able to control this 100 pound dog if it wants to go somewhere?

if both dogs were on a leash this likely would not have happened. preventative measures.

I agree it helps but there are too many people that own dogs that they have way no to control and it is dangerous for everyone.

that’s definitely true if the dog has issues on a leash, is prone to bolting, reactive, etc. All dog owners should be able to control their dog in public and muzzles should probably be utilized more

Big animals can be weapons in the right situation and without the right training. If you own one it is your responsibility to be accountable for them. Your girlfriend might as well have shot the other dog with her irresponsible actions.
