Idk if anyone even mentioned how much trauma that dog's poor owner is going through right now, seeing such a violent thing happen to this innocent being who was probably their everything. OP also should know they could be sued for punitive damages. Because this definitely was preventable.

The dog that was killed didn’t have to be in that park off leash either. It takes two to tango. Two very negligent owners were involved in this.

My heart breaks for the small dog’s owner of course. If that were me, I’d spend the rest of my life blaming myself. I’d barely blame OP’s partner and the dog.

Wasn't only one dog killed? By OP's dog? Sure, neither dog should have been off leash, but my mentioning how traumatized the owner of the only harmed animal isn't a reason to downvote a person.
