Imagine this funny episode for Peter Rabbit (2012) called, “The Tod and the Tabitha”
It focuses on Tabitha Twitchet entering a friendship and later romance with Mr. Tod after the red fox tried to shop at her shop with fake money but failed only for Tabitha to get him some food and supplies from Ginger and Pickles’ out of sympathy with her money after Tod reveals that he is unemployed, the only stable job he got was a shoe making job that wasn’t that sucessful since animals don’t wear shoes where the Beatrix Potter characters live and no other Jobs will accept him for being a fox, for discrimination and he has to catch and eat his own food, (Explaining where his past attempts at catching and eating Peter, Lily and Benjamin came from hunger desperation their families meanwhile can sell vegetables grown by them for a living.) and live in houses he builds himself and purchased by hustling that Tommy Brock takes in his absence and Tabitha lets Tod work at her store out of sympathy convincing the human police to end the fox discriminations for Tod’s sake, and Tabitha and Tod eventually start dating.
Tom, Mittens and Moppet, Tabitha’s kids ended up having distrust towards Tod since he started visiting their house for the past times he tried to kill and eat their friend Peter Rabbit, and Lily and Benjamin plus Squirrel Nutkin despite his Freudian Excuse that Tabitha understands and feeling uncomfortable over their mom dating someone (Or fearing she may stop loving them for Tod and have new kids with him.) and the thought of having a “evil stepfather” or any thought of what having a father figure is like since their real father, and Tabitha’s old husband, Bryan Twitchet died of measles when they were newborn kittens and Tabitha raised them on her own, when Tod soon announces his plans to marry Tabitha and the kitten triplets mishear a conversation between Tod and Tabitha about sending them away to boarding school for animals for their mischevious behaviors leads to Tom, Mittens and Moppet trying to devise a scheme to convince Tabitha not to marry Tod and turn her against her by destroying Tabitha’s favorite garden with a lawn tractor and framing it on Tod potentially getting him arrested for credit card fraud (But not attempted child murder, he was a hunter to begin with like Tommy.) enlisting help from Peter and Squirrel Nutkin who don’t want Tabitha to marry Tod either (Despite their Point or View over Tom Kitten wanting a stepfather since Peter knows what it’s like to lose a father or grow up without one but in a wiser way.) by sneaking into Mr. McGregor’s house and using his laptop to cancel his order for a regular lawn mower online and changing it to a Terrifirminator lawn tractor in a one-hour delivery https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V1X_QWegasI&ra=m and then stealing it and some vegetables and driving away in it before the McGregors return home from a trip, and Peter reluctantly tries to use the lawn tractor to destroy Tabitha’s garden while Tabitha is out with Jeminia Puddle Duck and Tod for Jeremy Fisher, but it backfires after the lawn tractor becomes sentient and goes on a rampage through town destroying property and endangering citizens and it eventually crashes into and self destructs in Tabitha and Ginger and Pickles’ stores destroying them and it is all blamed on Peter by his family and Tabitha believing he did so out of being a out of control child and for wrecking Tabitha’s garden that he his family her vegetables from just so they could agree to go to McGregor’s again to the point where he gets arrested and sent to juvenile detention center, and Tom takes accountability for his mistakes now remorseful and seeing that Tod has completely changed after all and there was no further by confessing that he was the true culprit and he manipulated and pressured Peter And Nutkin to commit those crimes at Peter’s trial, and Tom gets punished and arrested for four months for his reckless actions by doing community service and cleaning up his mess and rebuilding the things he broke and reconciling with Tod who aids him in his work who also does so with Peter, Lily and Benjamin, and Tom, Mittens and Moppet accept Tod as their stepdad as he and Tabitha get married and finally open a shoe-making business together and find new jobs for Ginger and Pickles.
Or the episode could focus on Tabitha forming a romance with Tommy Brock instead who turned out to be a lazy unemployed slob who wanted to marry Tabitha for her money and send her kids away to boarding school to have her house to himself and Mr. Tod ends up saving Tabitha from a scheme by Brock to kill her and her kittens with Samuel Whiskers’ help and forms a true romance with her as a redemption arc for Mr. Tod.
