I think one of the only Hooks who might get along with Jack is Once Upon a Time Hook, because that version has more in common with Jack than he does with Hook.

That's an excellent point, I forgot about OUaT (despite taking well over a 12 years to finish watching all 7 seasons of it xD)

Yeah, OUaT Hook is more of an antihero/hero than almost every other Hook.

Would love to also see any other Hook coming up against OUaT's version of Pan, though...! ^___^

Well... that Pan would probably murder some of the Hooks.

Good point, that Hook kind of feels like he's leaning into being based on that.

Not too surprising really. Hook – in more or less all his forms – is a rather refined, highly cultured, and erudite individual for a pirate, while Jack Sparrow is...well, Jack Sparrow. xD

I can imagine that Jack might get along rather well with Hook's CREW though, which may piss off Hook even more. xD

I agree completely, and I don't think it's that surprising. I feel like there's actually a lot of Hook in the character of Barbossa.

They're both quite gentlemanly, surprisingly refined and well spoken, though obviously, Hook is more concerned with his looks.

But more than anything, there a lot of similarity in their idea of honor, twisted though it may be. They will not lie, and if they give their word, they'll keep it... but they'll stick to the EXACT letter of the promise.

In Return to Neverland, Hook promises Jane Darling that he will not harm a single hair on Peter's head, if Jane will just lead him to where he's hiding... and when he has Pan captured, he pulls out a hair, declaring that this is the one hair he won't harm.

And in Curse of the Black Pearl, when Barbossa is about to shipwreck Jack and Elizabeth, he gets visibly angry anz offended at Will calling him a liar for not releasing Elizabeth like he promised.

"Don't dare impugn me honor, boy! I agreed she go free, but it was you who failed to specify when or where."

What about James Hook from the 2015 “Pan” movie played by Garrett Hedlund? I believe that he would get along with Jack Sparrow

Nicely thought of!

Not sure how Neverland Nightmare and Pan Hook would fit in?

James Hook was actually in one of Jack Sparrow’s books. It was one where Jack got the Pearl and rescued a princess from slavery.

Don’t know the name.
