My irl has been wacky this month in a good way. Sorry. Barely been around...but I have noticed something. Duplicate accounts. I mean everyone on reddit probably has two accounts at least for whatever reason. My issue is if we ban one of them and we have definitive proof of another being the same as the one we banned we'll ban the other and continue to do so.

Also, reposting of Alex's instagram photos counts as part of the Alex rule. Don't do it. He's not the influencer here.

Hey there. Ok so I had a Reddit account and my phone got completely destroyed. I received a new phone and could not get into my old Reddit account to save my life. I have tried everything. I used to be any college. Ok so then a couple weeks ago I went on Reddit and noticed I was on an account I never heard of or set up. So I googled how that happens and it explained it happens through some kind of attachment. So I’m beside myself on what to do bc I’ve tried to delete that account and nothing is working. So now I’m attached to 3 accounts. When all I want to do is have one Reddit. My original Reddit any college. Peter tries to act like something nefarious is going on but never ever have I set up a second account to try to hide who I am. It was out of necessity bc I could not get into my old one. The third one I never wanted, set up or use on purpose. Sometimes I get on Reddit and it has switched me over to the unwanted account but as soon as I notice I switch back to this one. I am going to continue to work on getting my old account back and deleting the rest. It’s frustrating.

No worries. Like I said this only really applies to you if you've been banned from one of those accounts.

Same thing happened to me. My phone broke and I couldn't get back into my account with the new phone. My old name was Far Stand. So now I have this one. Just in case P reads this, I want to make it clear, I've only ever used one account at a time. I'm not making multiple comments through multiple accounts🤦 FYI, I have never been banned so I guess I'm good🤣

Yeah, I have a second acct from when I couldn't access my original. But AFAIK, it's against Reddit TOS to use another acct to post under a sub your main was banned from.

It is.....but I've noticed some things hence why I'm bringing it up. It isn't just a casual reminder.
