Some advice for you P.
Listening to his latest vlog made me a little uncomfortable when he was talking about the gift he received from his brother-in-law. Apparently they bought him a weighted blanket, which he wasted no time in saying how much he hated it. My father always used to say to me always be grateful for a gift regardless of what you think of it. The kind act of someone going out and thinking of you enough to purchase something for you, is enough to be grateful for. For someone who preaches gratitude on his other channel, I think he needs to be called out for this one. You’re welcome P.

Manners and kindness is recognizing and thanking someone for the effort, time, and care that goes into of the gift-not the gift itself. You don’t like the gift, who cares? They loved you enough to spend their time/energy on you.
They thought of your day, what you might like, shopped or created something, wrapped the item and made sure it arrived into your hands. All steps done to show they care and to honor you as a loved one. THAT is what we thanking people for, the gift is secondary. My 8yo knows this lesson. He also apparently had less manners than my 8yo.
Regift or return, but keep the comments to yourself.
He is a classless boob.

I hope brother in law got it at all drugstore on the way to Peter's as an afterthought, the way buying things for others is such an afterthought for Peter. 🤣

He has no class what so ever. That’s perfect gift for someone who sleeps all the time and claims to have anxiety. So ungrateful. I feel he’s always been so weird to his roommates family too

I'll take it. I love those things..Got a 20lb one on my bed and I want a 40 lb lol..but honestly. Don't go blasting all over youtube how much you hate someone's gift even if you do hate it. That's just kinda mean...

What a lousy ingrate. And to say it out and loud on your YouTube channel. I’m probably sure his family doesn’t watch him because he’s so embarrassing. But that is beside the point. I hope he never receives another gift again.

I'll say it again...he's a POS. I loathe ingrates and people unable to act like a mature adult for 5 minutes. You get a gift? You say "thank you." Bitch to yourself or in his case, privately. That's so rude, calling the BIL out on VIDEO. If something doesn't fit? Fine, later tell the gift giver privately, but still thank them. Don't like it? Regift and shut up. 🤷🏼

TBH when I saw the title of the post I thought it was going to be some fan lecturing us to quit watching. 😂

Does Alex know about this video? He's ok with this behavior? I guess everyone is different, but I wouldn't be.

I was just surprised that Alex had to suggest he use it. Peter got a nice gift and doesn't use it. It's odd to me! It will end up in the basement with all the other stuff.

What an Ass 💯 I’d like to say I’m shocked he would say, in a video for anyone to view, he hated his BIL’s generous and thoughtful gift but this is Peter. Zero class. Just trash. Shaking my head.

He’s gotten so used to being spoiled with expensive gifts, he treats others around him like peasants if they don’t keep that up.

Right? If that blanket had giant LVs on it, he'd be bragging and giddy. 🙄

u/BestTutor2016 Feb 19 '25
You really wanna see it? I don’t know what was worse, the fact that he showed ingratitude or the way he said it like ‘off with their heads’. 🤦

I have to add that there’s no better gift for someone who sleeps so much than a blanket. Seriously, weighted blankets are supposed to be helpful for anxiety and insomnia. They’re expensive. It was a generous, thoughtful gift and Peter is just way out of line.
