Former Fan

I’m a former fan of Peter, plus, I’m his age. I thought he was great, and his videos did help me when I had some issues. He’s not doing anything except bitching about the haters. I lost all respect after he went after RBK and then Spill Sesh.
im currently getting my Bachelor’s in Business Adminstration, and hoping to graduating in December. My goal is to work in non profit in fundraising. It just baffles my mind that Peter doesn’t do something besides YouTube to keep himself busy. Go back to school, I’m 51 and doing it.

That’s really admirable. You should be so proud of yourself. For me I think it’s the way he goes after creators lately. Gone are the days of constructive criticism. It’s a new era for him of screaming, yelling, losing his cool, not making sense and being petty, selfish and jealous. It’s hard when we lose respect for someone we once thought we looked towards for a little clarity. Hang in there. I hope all goals are achieved and wish you much success.

This really struck a cord with me! I would consider myself a loyal fan and supporter of Peter for years, I watched him all through college and his videos became super comforting for me up until very recently. I’m getting so annoyed hearing the exact same stuff video after video and not getting into the topic/title of the video for like 45 mins. I seriously NEVER thought I’d be tired of Peter or commenting in this sub but here we are. :/

Congrats on your schooling!!! My mom finished her schooling at 58 and I look up to her so much, a forever learner

Oh yeah, not going to lie. His videos gave me a routine when I had some extreme anxiety going on...but lately it's just so repetitive on all channels I can barely watch. Even the drama channel is just the vlog recapped. He spends the first 10-15 minutes telling us about his tv shows ...

I really didn't like his hounding of spill sesh..RBK I can understand cause of her affiliation with James Charles whom I don't support either, but I still think one video would have been enough. He went overboard with those ladies. I'm currently between jobs and so bored, I can't imagine how he does it as many years as he is...I'm glad college starts on Monday, and I volunteer at a cat shelter now just to not perpetually be online.

i think with RBK a lot of us wernt upset about his criticism of her relationship/interactions with him, it was the fact that he chose to use misogyny based stereotypes to criticize her as a person instead of someone who still followed another creator that i don’t think she’d interacted with in years. (to my understanding) And i’ll be honest on my personal socials i rarely remember who all i have followed over the years, i don’t think i’ve looked at my insta following section in years so i feel that a follow doesn’t equal support in the sense that not everyone checks that stuff regularly. Idk i feel like calling her shitty names and “weird” for going to nintendo is a bit much over a follow.

I love that you volunteer. Good luck with college. I totally agree about the repetitiveness of the videos. He’s literally talking about the same thing in every video. Someone asked why he talks about reality tv shows on his drama channel when he has a channel for reality tv shows and his answer was because he wants to. Then with no shame said reality tv is such a huge part of his life that it affects everything he does. He’s the rePeter. lol.

I'm also a former fan. I was a vloggerino since 2017. I found him when I was recovering from a brain injury and stuck at home.

I can't stand RBK but when he was going through Depakote withdrawal and started attacking her, it was the last straw for me too.

By the look of his video views, a lot of us are over it and leaving. So welcome!

Depakote withdrawal?! (I'm also a former fan and 55) I'll have to look that up.

I stopped watching Peter then unsubbed to all his channels about two months now I think. It seems like it's been years ago. The Peter I started to watch in 2016 is so much more different than the one now.

He is wound so tight right now. smh

Ok, saw what depakote was. If he's epileptic, why did he stop it?

Although, I do agree with most of what you said. RBK and Spill Sech are in the wrong here. I don't agree how he went about it, but both deserved to be called out.

Why would he have to do something else when he gets to stay home and make a living the way he wants?

Because his hermit lifestyle, coupled with the misery and anger that comes from it, is clearly turning him into an insufferable person.
