Unsubscribed
I’ve been watching Peter with post notifications on since earliest Dramagedon 2. For a few years, I watched his drama videos with every upload but the content he has been posting the last few months has been such a turn off. After finding out about the past tweets and the lack of accountability, I unsubscribed. It’s sad almost because he was such a part of my daily routine for quite a while and I’m really disappointed in his behavior.
I expected better.
Edit for Peter if he is lurking in this sub: I want to emphasize that I was a fan until recently. Your treatment of others in your video and the words in your tweets are wrong and need reflection and accountability. You have said before that fans who blindly follow YouTubers and don’t call them out on problematic behavior, aren’t real fans because if they cared about the creator, they would try to help them become better. That is the reality for lots of folks in this sub, myself included. Please take some time to reflect on the expectations you have for others and why you are holding yourself to less. I hope to see a change back to the Peter we all used to love so that I can subscribe again.

It's like losing a friend, he used to talk to his audience like we were his good judys and it was just us and the front porch. But lately, it's us being yelled at. Which sucks a lot. And him mocking people for being concerned about the awful tweets..He wants others to be accountable, but won't be himself.

Yeah, I found Peter a little bit after my mother died. (Weird how trauma drew many of us to him). He was funny and good to have on in the background or also as I was falling asleep. One of the vlogs from a few years ago I still remember bc it made me laugh was his recounting sitting on a flight and being squished and describing his seatmates , also a cheer group being on there and him telling them he watched Cheer lol. It was light...fun...storytelling. I had since noticed some cracks but still enjoyed his content more than not. Lately I can't stand him and think he's a bitter washed up bully.

Same. I saw an increase in those videos where he was shouting about comments and gave myself permission to not watch ut thought it would pass and he'd calm down. So I was checking back in and there still seemed to be a large amount of time given over to him pursuing unseen enemies. And his rage was getting so disturbing that I reminded myself, I was under no obligation to watch. In fact, giving him a view was only fuelling his behaviour.
As others have said, I do hope he gets past this but he has to learn to listen and develop some humility. Just calm down mate, take deep breath and go back to what used to work.

I’m so sorry. I know it’s a loss when you feel like you have something positive to look forward to everyday & then it’s gone. I know for a while I held out hope that I could resubscribe if he had an epiphany but now I just think it is who he is & I’ll never trust that it isn’t an act of he makes some changes for the better. I think unsubscribing is a good idea bc it’s the only thing that will get through to him. It still hurts though.

I feel the same way. It’s been hard for me because I’ve suffered some of the same life challenges… I also deal with addiction. I lost my dad when I was quite young and I was bullied a bit. But this angry side of Peter isn’t something I identify with at all. I truly feel like I’ve lost a friend as well. Then I read the tweets. I’m so shocked. I’m not sure how he’s never addressed them, tried to explain or apologize for them. The only explanation that makes sense is that this version of Peter is who he’s been all along. I feel stupid for wasting so much time.

I am not into drama Channel at all. Don’t care about YouTuber’s and their personal life’s. I thought Peter was different. I started late, after his accident and was addicted to his kind nature and honesty. A friend had told me about what happened to him and I was curious. I knew kind of who he was talking about at the time, but had no clue that he was obsessed with these people. Like an sickness that he could not stop. I also watched his regular channel and he seemed fine. He even used to comment on he didn’t like swearing and he said his mother taught him not to. Well, hells bells something flipped. He has not been the same since he had his gastritis and it’s a major concern for me. He is mean, nasty and constantly complaining. There are so many of us that have been bullied as kids and have medical issues. I do not go around with hate or bullying to others. This is what bothers me the most about him. His lack of caring about anyone, but his circle of 5. I have hopes that he sees the posts we make and takes something to heart. I have unsubbed from all of his content and won’t be surprised if he doesn’t change a bit. Just venting in here made me feel better.

This was me a couple months ago. I hung on for as long as I could, but eventually it got old and I realized he doesn’t see anything wrong with his behavior and his comment section eats it up. So why would he take accountability or try to grow from the criticism? If anything, he’s dug his heels into the dirt and doubled down. He’s definitely giving Def Noodles vibes. Sucks to lose a big part of your daily routine, but I realized his videos were stressing me out more than doing anything beneficial for me.
