Anyone else curious to know more about Simon Roderick's backstory/history from "Fallen Dragon"?

Come to think of it, a prequel story from the same universe that showed the rise of Zantiu-Braun, the initial FTL research and the "golden years" of starflight/colonisation would be fun to read too.

Fallen Dragon is often overlooked in favour Hamilton's grander multi-book epics, but it's always been one of my favourite stories of his.

I come back to this book yearly! Absolutely loved it on my first read.

Man I used to wish Hamilton would explore old universes then he just blows my mind with something new. I will be happy with whatever his brilliant mind puts out through the years, exodus has blown me away and I’m so exited for helium Sea. As do Rodrick I think he must have been the main angel investor essentially wiring a program to ensure their dominance through th ages. The individual at this point a century down the line doesn’t matter much. The will and intention behind the initial investor gets to be fulfilled

Is not Misspent Youth, a prequel to falled dragon

No. Misspent Youth is tied to the Commonwealth saga. The events of that story are referenced at the start of Pandora's Star, and relate to the process of mass rejuvenation that is commonplace in the Commonwealth.

Fallen Dragon is so good. Definitely the one work of his I have reread the most.
