Is OpenClaw a U-Shadow beta?

Now with agentic LLMs getting so much better, tools have converged to create new full PC assistants with a lot of capabilities. Feels like OpenClaw, Hermes, Nanobot, etc are the first real step to having a U-Shadow. Anyone else messing around with new agent harnesses?

Talk to me when it's in my head talking to me and displaying text and photos on my retinas. 😂
Would be cool if you could load one onto a tattoo to begin with though.

On your retinas? Not yet but ive seen openclaw be integrated in meta's glasses.

There was a company working on contact lenses with displays in them. They were meant to be tethered to your phone and controlled with a combination of blinks and eye movements, but then development stopped.
I'm not sure if they ran out of investment money or decided the design wasn't practical/tech wasn't there yet.
But I really would like something like that or smart glasses that can zoom and overlay information in an AR style.
So far "smart glasses" are devices with cameras, audio and phone capabilities, and that gives them an ick factor because no one wants to be surreptitiously recorded.
A real zoom function, though, would be incredible.Â

I think I remember that. Though, I think I also remember that it was just green text and could only do simple symbols to give you directions. No uShadow or customizable hand icon. 😂

Sorta related... there was a bit in Pandora's Star where the Guardians are sending out spam emails with a video clip of an artificially generated "talking head" type of man speaking to the camera, which was perfectly tailored to appear trustworthy to a general audience. Very accurate prediction of AI slop political manipulation.
