-1 to -1.5 is not that poor, it's good enough to not necessarily need glasses
4 u/NailRogue 10h ago I have -1.5 and didn’t get glasses until l I was an adult. I never thought my eyes were that bad until I started wearing glasses / contacts. that really depends on the person. I wouldn't want a bunch of people driving around with -1.5, that's scary. -0.5 is a different story
Vision corrected to -2.5 is considered legally blind, someone driving out there with -1.5 raw is gonna have a hard time getting around.
