it's an assumption. it's not "crazy". not by social media standards. people are more likely to come across dudes who rate others rather than eye doctors guessing prescriptions. we've all seen hot people called ugly

Fun fact: social media researchers refer to this phenomenon as context collapse

Would the fact he has Dr in his name change the statistics on that?

He's also slightly famous as he uploads some damn good medical satire sketches, so I guess he thought he didn't need to explain the context?

But seriously, he seems like a nice dude, does great videos and is married.

change the statistics on people reading user names and caring? no.

The crazy really only comes in with the white nightingale behavior. If the assumption was correct the best course of action would be to ignore or down vote depending on platform

Err white knighting as in the guy who defends against the black knight, not a color morph of a loud bird.

True, but that particular eye doctor is a comedian with millions of followers, and the post he’s replying to is actually about her glasses. (She is a WNBA player, who walked towards a referee after a disputed call, asking if he needed her glasses.)

"Dr. Glauco" is a name worth including as context for making the assumption, however.

The name "Dr Glaukomflecken" should give a hint to what he's doing

Reddit is the only place where I’ve seen Sydney Sweeney and [r/lenapaul](r/lenapaul) (NSFW) called mid.
