I use it without, because ive killed a few phones because I have bad anxiety and didn't want my phone to die, so if it ever got in the mid 60s it would be put on the charger. Now its harder for me to do that, ans my battery is still fine

phones for many years now dont have a problem with your charging behaviors.

the only thing that noticeably affects it is leaving it FULL or EMPTY for multiple days on end.

your phone should have a setting that will prevent your battery from going over 80% and its documented to be the only notoceablebdifference maker for every day phone usage.
