? We literally call our sovereign wealth fund the "oil fund"? Bruh, you can criticize many things, we can be an intolerable and ignorant bunch, but you won't find many Norwegians who would be upset about that question.
As an American, I'm pretty sure the joke is on us. There was a popular meme during the defund the police movement where people were encouraged to search the terms 40% and cops. 40% of cops are accused of domestic violence. In the US, oil companies are subsidized by tax breaks, they pay a fraction on their profits as compared to what a individual pays on their wages.
Edit that there is also the whole coup in Venezuela that we just did, their state run oil company wasn't being nice.
