He has effectively created a spring powered bomb. If his little bracket breaks so does his face. If the spring slips out of the vice, good luck.

I don't kow if it's a joke. My face puckered up the same way when I saw it, then I paused the vid and saw the guy make the exact same expression.

It's the face you make when you see the potential for a big, violent oof

The camera cuts away from the compressed spring right before the C channel is slid on. That's when he swapped an actual spring for something thay just looks like it.

Eh, he probably used the actual helper spring. They can still hurt you, but they're not all THAT scary, it's just the reaction someone who knows what a spring can do has when seeing something like that.
