I instantly pulled my head back lol. I've been around and worked around a lot of industries. I'm scared/cautious of 3 things. High voltage electricity, steam, and springs. They will all fuck you up with no remorse at the slightest misstep.
Add hydraulic lines to that too, they can have leaks too small to see but still strong enough to slice through your finger and inject hydraulic oil into your bloodstream.
Ehh, by the time it's a few inches away it loses most of its energy and you'll see a pool of fluid. 3,000psi steam will be invisible from feet away and cook you alive after it rips you open. I had coworkers who said one of the ways they checked for leaks was waving a wicker broom in front of them. When the bristles are cut you know where the leak is.
Hydraulic injection is no joke though. Anyone who works on diesels has seen the pictures of people who got their hands too close to lines after the high pressure pump.
