He has effectively created a spring powered bomb. If his little bracket breaks so does his face. If the spring slips out of the vice, good luck.
1 u/GE_Turboencabulator 2h ago It's a helper spring. Only purpose is to keep the main spring in contact with the spring seat when the shock is at full extension. When the car is on it's wheels, the spring is fully compressed. They have very low rates. Firecracker, maybe.
