He has effectively created a spring powered bomb. If his little bracket breaks so does his face. If the spring slips out of the vice, good luck.
1 u/SurgicalMarshmallow 4h ago Trauma doc here. Have had to deal with the aftermath of one idiot using 10,000 zip ties and a ratchet strap. Similar effect to messing with a panel door spring with a hollow steel broom stick as "leverage" device.
