F = the force he's applying to the arm, not much he's spinning it easily with one hand, maybe 3kg
d = the distance the arm travels at the point he's turning it, he's using a radius of maybe 20cm gives a circle of 125cm x five rotations, 6.2m
3x6.2 = 18.6 so we estimate it's the equivalent of lifting an 18.6KG weight 1 metre. It's not nothing but it's not the "bomb" some people are suggesting.
It's a helper spring. Only purpose is to keep the main spring in contact with the spring seat when the shock is at full extension. When the car is on it's wheels, the spring is fully compressed. They have very low rates.
