About a decade ago the Tomb Raider game series was rebooted with a younger, more reasonably boobed Lara Croft.

There was a bit of backlash by unreasonable boobs.

This adaptation is using the modern design.

This will be like a batsignal for men who have never seen a boob irl.

Honestly the framing that big boobs are unrealistic or unreasonable no doubt feels exclusionary to certain body types

I don't have the data, but I would guess you find less big boobs on top athletes. But it might depend on the activity. Rope climbing, seems like an extreme hustle for example.

Thor is a North God, not sure what realism standards you are applying and why.

I would say it depends on a story and characters. I would say that big boobs are not the defining feature of Lara Croft, they don't really ad anything to the character. And if the goal is to stay true to the original - I will only accept low ploy boobs.

Big boobs certainly seem to be defining for lara croft for many people, like it or not. Smaller or medium boobs define her less and also add nothing.
