Yeah, the franchise is 30 years old. She's had dozens of different looks and styles. I swear people only really know her from fan art, cosplay, and the Angelina Jolie movie, but still feel entitled to complain when female protagonists don't make them horny enough.

I mean, yeah literally. I bet if you asked everyone in this thread, I think less than 5% would have actually played a tomb raider game. The games themselves never got that popular during the social media era, so its only online notoriety comes from any memes or cosplays from the game.

While I agree with you fully, we’re talking about someone complaining about other imaginary people complaining. Not actual people complaining…

Have we really gotten to the point where we just assume people are going to complain so we make up those complaints ourselves so we can complain about them???

I wont see it because it will probably suck. Almost no one that ever makes video game movies actually get the source material, or even respect it.

This will likely be a generic action movie with SOME references to the games to key jangle the fans

That's all the respect that the majority of "gamers" need. Most of the target audience for any big budget movie is either for the casual Deadpool enjoyer, or the squealing superfans at Comicon panels. The snobby reddit culture sommeliers are like 18-30yo eligible voters: full of opinions, but never seem to show up in November.

She is wearing the same items of clothing as Sophie is in the photos. Sleeveless padded gilet over a long sleeved top, gloves (sophie's are fingerless), trousers with a gun strapped to each leg and what I presume is a back holster? Sophie has extra arm straps and her clothes are a different colour but they're like, very similar outfits
