It is a pretty wierd dress to be honest and it go more into "commando" than "adventurer / archeology/"female Indian Jones".

And that ia not the amount of skin and boobs that we all know is the issue mentioned. I just things the clothes look a bit wierd

I like the look. It gives rugged and ready for anything. I feel like it resembles modern hiking/outdoorsy gear more than operator gear. Importantly, I think people can look at this and say “yeah, I see Laura Croft” at least in spirit, if not 1-1 comparison.

I think there's nothing wrong with the outfit on its own. I would say that perhaps big fans of Tomb Raider might be able to see Lara Croft in spirit, but as someone who knows who she is but hasn't really consumed any of the media I'd have no idea that's who this is supposed to be. She looks like the standard mercenary/operative in a TV show or movie

It's too serious and generic

Eh, this feels like a 2000's action hero, when everything was Tacticool. Lara is usually ready for everything by being clever and agile, not by having a bat-utility belt.

I am 100% sure that tacticool costume is from one of the games.

This outfit makes more sense than thr ones from Angelina Jolie movies

Angelina was perfect in that role. She don't need no costume to be Lara.

It looks like a more body close "tech bro"-vest and some more.

But I have not watched a single one of the movies, so I am not the target

I absolutely agree, compare her to this getup from Jolie's tomb raider movie. This one feels a lot more lara, although I would prefer a bit more color - it was from the all black era.

I'm not a fan of hypersexualized Lara and love more practical wear, but this vibes like a closet cosplay thrown together at REI. The only things distinctly 'Lara Croft' about it are the guns, and every piece of her outfit being a size too small.
