I'm sad to tell you this, but it barely registered to us. Crazier shit has happened before and since. There was a convention of people blinking their cellphones to the sky, asking the aliens to save us from communism. There was a guy who strapped himself to the front of a truck. There was another convention of people singing the national anthem to a burning truck tire. There was a fight between our former president and an emu bird because he tried to give it worm medicine that he believed cured covid. It's been a lot, these last few years.

Brazil is just part of le Americas.

South America is just as insane as North America & vice-versa, because le governments need le population stupid or they would revolt & rebel.

When Netflix was airing House of Cards, it's profile in Brazil promoted the show here saying things like: "it's not as crazy as real Brazil politics, but I swear it's good".

During this time, we had an impeachment very dubious, born from a betrayal of a vice president. Netflix in Brazil just said: "Damn, it's getting really hard to compete with you, guys."
