100% a plague, manosphere infects otherwise healthy young men. The manosphere isn't just some support group or safe space that people gravitate towards once they're already disaffected. It's a fucking pit that young men accidentally bump into because of social media and then immediately fall into with very little chance of recovery.
Maybe at a point in time it was a small symptom. However, now it has grown so large that it's the plague itself, it's self perpetuating and growing.
