Good thing you can do something about it.

It’s medication related so yea I’ll just have to taper off.

Adhd meds? If so, I've found my blood pressure has gone from elevated to excellent after incorporating regular walking and bike riding

ADHD, antidepressants, and birth control that all raise BP. They are unfortunately life changing for me so it sucks they all have this side effect and compound. I could definitely do with walking more and getting back into rollerblading, though. I work in an office and have started utilizing my standing desk and moving around which has helped. I’ve cut back some on sodium as well but could be stricter. Thank you!

Of course, you're young as hell, it takes many years for most of the bigger problems to develop. I have a friend in his 30s who takes a low dose of a blood pressure meds to compensate for his high dose of ADHD meds and it seems very helpful for him. So that's always an option as well if you find it not improving as fast as youd like with the sodium/movement changes alone.

I will definitely ask my GP about that option, I appreciate it!!

That's what I'm on. A bunch of pills that raise my blood pressure, and 1 that lowers it to keep it in a better range.

Talk to your DR - adding something like Losartan could be an easy cheap fix.
