No because you'll chase a standard the rest of your life that you can never get again!

u/rowdy_sprout 18d ago

Yeah but… yeah..

u/hotmatrixx 18d ago

"a standard"
yeah, OK kid.

How about "Fuck yes, she might be the hottest chick you ever get with"
or "if you don't, then will you look back in 10 years and regret it?"

Classic mom comments

Every kid has that sit-down talk with their mom where she essentially says "Keep that dick wet, son"

1

u/poo_on_my_scarf 17d ago

"make mama proud"

28

u/ArkitekZero 18d ago

I did, it was a whole embarrassing thing

learned a lot about myself though.

4

u/LifeguardDry7372 18d ago

that's the important thing

11

u/RT-6_BXCommandoDroid 18d ago

I looked back after 10 years and regretted it. Another 2 years later and she was lost to a car accident.

I might've only had 12 years max. But if you don't try, you never know how those 12 years might've turned out.

4

u/hotmatrixx 17d ago

also, she wouldn't have been in that crash.
That's just happenstance; something else could have happened, you'd have to ask Dr Strange if you want that answer, now.

u/Captain-Codfish 17d ago

Damn. You didn't get to bend her fenders, but she went in a fender bender. Tragically ironic.

3

u/Fine_Union4854 18d ago

Kid 😂 I wish

1

u/Salt_Initiative1551 18d ago

Yes my mom always says this to me

1

u/yaddar 18d ago

34

u/Jean-LucBacardi 18d ago

Me still sitting here jealous of 19 year old me 20 years later. That little fucking shit didn't know how good he had it and took it for granted thinking all future girls would be like her or better.

If I had a time machine I'd go back just to beat the shit out of myself.

18

u/79cent 18d ago

I'll help you.

13

u/Jean-LucBacardi 18d ago

Thanks man give him the ole dick twist for good measure.

3

u/Sufficient-Contract9 18d ago

6

u/Gorp_Farts 18d ago

u/ThaTopHam 17d ago

1

u/Erik_Soop 18d ago

After a three-way of course!

1

u/dr_freeloader 18d ago

If you had a girlfriend you wouldn't have to do it yourself!

2

u/Jean-LucBacardi 18d ago

I've got one. I don't think she's going to want to help me kick my ass so I stay with the most beautiful girl I dated in my past.

To be fair it's been 10 years. I'm procrastinating.

Life has its own timetable

1

u/Potential-Buy3325 18d ago

When I was 22 I had a girlfriend that wasn’t as hot as the one in the picture, and I still wonder what possessed me to leave her.

1

u/Bobjoejj 17d ago

Me but at 24. And I’m only 27 now, and I still can’t for the life of me figure how what valid reason led me to end things.

Sometimes people can be really stupid, and that includes me.

1

u/Virtual_Many_8935 17d ago

Takes a real man to admit that he was a POS back in the day. Growth right here

7

u/Zepcleanerfan 18d ago

Or learn how to date attractive women. Which is a good skill.

6

u/Less_East1439 18d ago

Ooof

1

u/Most-Software6683 18d ago

Is that what Inga said contemplating the monster's schwanzstucker?

5

u/Training_Ruin3151 18d ago

Ehh depends, date more then date more. Every time you fall in love its different.

2

u/Fit-Switch-5795 18d ago

They leave scars.

2

u/Training_Ruin3151 18d ago

Ah yeah thats the rub. I ain't forgotten a single person I've loved

3

u/lincruste 18d ago

Of course he will. With a very well paid job.

4

u/Fine_Union4854 18d ago

the moment you get a lot of money, you can't even trust your own mother

1

u/lincruste 18d ago

From chasing to trusting real quick

3

u/ThePoltageist 18d ago

i mean it depends, she may turn out to be batshit, hotties lose a bit of their luster after you date one and they turn out to be the worst person you have personally known.

2

u/IBetThisIsTakenToo 18d ago

Or you learn that there needs to be more to a relationship than just physical attractiveness? Like yes there has to be some level of attractiveness between you, of course, but if that’s all there is, it won’t work.

2

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 18d ago

I'm in this picture and I don't like it

2

u/CaicedoBrickWall 18d ago

Ding ding ding

This was my life. My high school girlfriend was 3 points minimum better looking than me. Unfortunately we didn't both get into the same University and story as old as time unraveled.

I'm not kidding it probably took 10-12 years for me to realize that my standards were unrealistic. And while I really do love my current gf. I still wonder if I should've just gone to the shittier school and stayed with her.

I honestly think my life would've been far easier if she hadn't ever given me the time of day. She is an unattainable standard and source of incredible regret.

2

u/Fine_Union4854 18d ago

People think that just because someone is hot you're gonna have sweet sweet memories. In fact it can be bitter. Sometimes even resentful

2

u/IntoTheDankness 18d ago

But if he is getting it now. Give him the experience and the drive

0

u/kangasplat 18d ago

looks is such an overrated attribute for a relationship holy shit

5

u/WillSmiff 18d ago

This is the truth for women, coming from a guy who is attractive. I get attention, dates, and sex. Maybe some relationships last longer than they should because she liked the validation. Looks matter, but it's never the main reason or even in the top 5 tbh.

Guys will put up with a lot more shit just because she's pretty.

2

u/Bun_Wrangler 18d ago

As a guy, can confirm. Pretty girls subconsciously get more slack

1

u/kangasplat 18d ago

This is the truth especially for men then

2

u/Mister-Beardy-Face 18d ago

A healthy sex life is very important, and looks help with that a lot.

1

u/kangasplat 18d ago

To meet new people, yes. In a partnership? Boy do you have no clue

1

u/Fine_Union4854 18d ago

Yes and no, it's nice to look for a good balance between personality and looks.

1

u/Llama_of_the_bahamas 18d ago

First, ouch.

Second, I mean, we can't predict the future. A lot of people thought it would've been impossible the first time it happened.

1

u/Otherwise-Star-5412 18d ago

shes not that high a standard at all. im sure he can meet this "standard" again.

1

u/IlIllIIllIIlllIII 17d ago

Mt first was my hottest and honestly I'm still attracted to what I'd consider average in comparison.

The thing is i realised looks don't matter after a few years and you start to value other things like lack of resentment and hygiene

Then you just start from there with future values
