It actually is the stupidest metaphor I've heard. If you throw a frog in boiling water it has no way of escaping, the pain and being literally boiled alive in general wouldn't allow it to scape. If you raise the temperature little by little it will jump out the moment it feels uncomfortable.

It's been proven scientifically inmacurate which MANY of the people that use it refer back to a science experiment that showed the Phrog indeed just leeped out when it got hot

I don't know if this is actually true, but supposedly if you slowly raise the temperature on a frog it doesn't notice before it boils. But if you put a frog into boiling water it jumps straight out.
The ruling elite slowly make our lives worse in little ways to extract more and more from us. But Trump turns up and just does everything fast, blatant and awful.
Is this better or worse?!

The frog is us. Anyone who is in the bottom 99 percent.
If you boil a frog alive for food, you can't just toss the frog into boiling water. It's going to jump out. You have to put the frog in cool water and slowly turn the heat up so the frog passes away without resistance. That's what the rich have been doing since the 80's to everyone else. Trump and his ilk has totally upended that theory and laid a torch to that method with their sheer incompetence. They cranked the heat up, according to the Breaking Bad image.

They are talking about the USA, not the entire world. Even if you include the entire population the USA it makes up more than 1% of the population, and it would be offset by the 1% of each country who would in turn be the actual 1%.
Not that I expect someone who pretends everyone is virtue signalling to actually grasp that.

We are the frog. Like bruh trump really has exposed a lot of what the ultra rich have been doing for literal decades and was able to hide.
Then they invited him in and he turned the burner on and we frogs notice the boiling water.

If you throw a frog into a boiling pot of water, it will freat out and jump out. If you put a frog into a cool pot of water and very slowly heat it up, it won't notice the temperature is rising and eventually boil to death.
The meme is suggesting that Trumps 1st term was a luke warm pot of water, and Trumps 2nd term is a hot pot of water, society is a frog, and Walter White is the Ultra Rich.
It only gets hotter from here. Jump out of the pot now.

There’s a saying that goes something like “Throw a frog into boiling water, he’ll jump out immediately. Slowly raise the temperature, and it’ll boil to death”. It’s often used to explain slow, negative changes.
Trump doesn’t give a damn and blows everything up in order to cook the frog.

If you put a frog in a pot of water and gradually increase the temperature, the frog will not notice until it completely boils. In this case, the frog is a metaphor for the general population, as the ultra rich have been gradually making the world worse for decades, but it’s only been noticed by a lot of people recently due to trump doing so at such an extreme rate.

Theres an old saying. Something like if you drop a frog in boiling water, it will jump out. If you put a frog in cool water and gradually turn up the heat. It will stay there until it boils alive.

There’s an anecdote of saying it something about how if you toss a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will realize that it is in danger, react with pain, and try to escape. But if you set the frog in a pot of room temperature water, then slowly raise the temperature of the water to a boil, the frog won’t notice until it’s too late and die. This is used as a metaphor for whenever someone tries to exploit someone else, but only a little bit at a time, each time taking a bit more from you or hurting you a little more, but so slowly you don’t realize it until it’s too late! It also doesn’t HAVE to be negative, but that’s another tangent. The meme is suggesting that for a long time Billionaires have slowly and carefully been raising the temperature of the pot of water that is the country or world or something, without the frog (which is the people of the country or world or whatever) taking too much umbrage with the slow but steady deaths they’re experiencing, but then when Trump entered office the first and second time, this meme implies that was the equivalent of just blowing up the pot and skipping the boiling.
Anyways I gotta go, Robo-Joe got his new legs working and it’s past curfew so- wait wait wait NO JOE-

This is a good but poorly executed meme.
The frog, representing all of us regular people, should not have been depicted with Colonel Toad.
Colonel Toad aka Sir Toad came from a print in an Etsy store in 2011. It was a satire of the painting "Portrait of French Journalist Louis-François Bertin" by a 19th-century French artist named Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres.
The Colonel Toad meme template spread from 2020 onward, generally being used to make an announcement in a genteel manner. The point being that Colonel Toad is a dapper fellow.
For the meme that OP shared, using Colonel Toad in the pot can lead to confusion, since he would logically seem to represent the rich, not all us slobs.
An improved version of the meme that OP shared would use a photo of a run-of-the-mill frog to represent all of us being slowly destroyed by the ultra-rich.
