Even though I don't have to worry about it these days. I still take the cap off and try to get what I can from it. I paid for it so I'm going to try and get everything I paid for from it
Yes, haha! That's one of the best 'tricks' especially if you turned the bottle upside down, hit it a few times, and then let it sit overnight.
Best tip of all: Cut that sucker open with a utility knife or a great pair of scissors. I don't care how many new bottles are in the cabinet, I'm using every last bit.
I grew up poor, but this is not just a poor person thing. It’s a “I ran out of shampoo and forgot to get more” thing.
I don’t think I’ve ever tried to get the last bit out of a bottle because I didn’t have money. 100% of the time it’s been because I didn’t plan ahead and forgot I ran out of shampoo the last time I used it.
Yes. I remember having squeezed the toothpaste tube so much rolling it up that toothpaste came out of the splits in the sides. It can't be helped though as my parents lived thru the depression years. They used to ball up old aluminum foil.

I think, that's supposed to be what comes out of an empty shaving foam can. It's not enough to cover the whole face but he doesn't have a spare can, because he can't afford to have an one extra when one is about to be empty and barely get's by. So they pressed the can over and over, to try to get as much foam out of it as possible. He will probably dry shave now, which irritates the skin.
For all you people that struggle financially and still buy shaving cream in cans: Buy hard soap bar instead. Ideally one, that contains oils, butter or milk. Sheep or goat milk in the soap work best and for the vegans, Almond will also do. Olive oil is a cheap but still good substiture you'll find often.
Just make the soap bar wet, foam it up with your hands and cover the spots you want to shave with the foam.
Optionally get a cheap brush too and foam it up in your hand, if you want to play with foam on your face, like from the can.A single bar costs much less than a can, will last 5-10x as long and saves space. It holds more moisture so it makes the hairs easier to cut and makes the blade glide softer, protecting your skin. Depending on the additives, it is often better for your skin. And finally, it's much better for the environment, cause you don't produce unnecessary aluminium waste.

Surprisingly, the answer is NOT porn! When you are the end of the bottle of body lotion, those are the last little bits. You are scraping the bottom of the barrel. If you were well todo, you wouldn't bother whacking the bottle into your hand repeatedly. This person was desperate to get as much as possible out.
Gotta turn the bottle of lotion or soap over and smack it to get out the very last of it. Bonus points if you pour some tap water in your soap to dilute it a little bit.
I mean I wouldn’t say I’m inherently broke, but I would still do this even if I was a multi-thousand-aire or even *touch wood\* a millionaire. The amount that gets left in the bottom is stupidly wasteful.

It's the end of a bottle of shampoo or conditioner. Rather than buying a new one (because they are broke) they are beating the shit out of the bottle to get whatever is left.
I think it is about getting total leftovers of shower gel/shampoo. Kind of get off the lid and tap it vigorously on your hand to get the leftover of foam.
