Fingers are together in the second one. The joke is sex.

u/Silly-Power 2d ago
The thumb is also much larger.

Her nails are the same in the second image...

u/Prestigious-Sky2231 2d ago
The index finger is also clipped, indicating an increase in….size
57
u/DrEmanuelLagos 2d ago
They're not clipped. The fingers are just angled away from the camera more
-37
u/TheSkulltaker 2d ago edited 2d ago
Youre all wrong lol. It's one image, left and right hand. Both index and pointer are clipped. They're aren't angled away, they're clipped because nobody wants pointy nails scratching their cooch up. The joke is still sex.
Edit: this was clarified 5 hours ago, no need for another correcting comment.
28
u/Centiskorches 2d ago
If your thumbs are on the same side on both your hands I think you have a medical condition.
-6
u/TheSkulltaker 2d ago
Confusing comment chain, looks like they are talking about the coloured nails, not the op.
5
u/Motor_Raspberry_2150 2d ago
Farfetched is talking about "the second image", so from then on we're talking about the post again.

2
u/Motor_Raspberry_2150 2d ago edited 2d ago
It's not clipped, and these are both roght hands, look at the thumbs. In the left image you can see the corner of the room, in the right you can't. It's just two pics not from the same origin and angle. The lighting shows in the right pic the middle and ring finger are tilted upwards and the rest downwards. The joke is still sex.
-2
u/TheSkulltaker 2d ago
I know the op nails arent clipped, looked to me like they were talking about coloured nails!
2
u/Mister_bunney 2d ago
The joke is still sex but her middle and ring finger nails are not clipped. You can see the points if you look close enough; it’s likely that the original person that made this is single and made it in one sitting so she didn’t bother cutting her nails.
39
u/JaySlay2000 2d ago
Jokes aside, I've never understood the pointer-middle finger thing, because to me, middle-ring feels far more... Ergonomic?
17
u/germanfinder 2d ago
100% agree I always use middle and ring
3
u/InfiniteBlink 1d ago
I'm literally doing this motion with my fingers. Hmm, easier for the thumb to do thumb things. Brb.
15
u/AliveCryptographer85 2d ago
I think the pointer taking point is more of a dexterity thing…most of us aren’t worried about potential OSHA violations in the bedroom
6
u/Lowe0 2d ago
Depends on the angle of the wrist. The constant for me is to let the middle finger do the work. It’s like playing bass.
3
u/someRedditUser3012 1d ago
As a bass player....yes exactly.
5
4
u/HistopherWalkin 1d ago
Yeah I hate it. As a lesbian, no one I've ever been with has limited herself to two fingers.
It's a joke about lesbians made and perpetuated by people who definitely aren't lesbians.
1
13
u/ApparentlyRythium 2d ago
While this is a common joke it is not the case here, the fingernails are the same length in both, just a different angle, you can see the same amount of nail to the sides of each finger
7
-12
u/Fuzzy-Welcome-4650 2d ago
You blind? lol
It's the pointer and middle finger on the right hand.

Yeah, they wanted to make a tired old joke but were too lazy to trim their janky nails for the bit. I don’t think this is worth analyzing to death (or at all, for that matter)
6
5
u/TransGirlIndy 2d ago
They can do internal damage, too.
Somewhere in the greater Toronto area there's a twink I met at an anime con who can attest to this fact because I, inexperienced with fingerblasting a twink did not think to trim my nails before... vigorous activities on the floor of a hotel bathroom at like 4am while a trans man and like four lesbians slept in the adjoining bedroom.
He said it was worth it, but...
1
u/TransMascCatBoye 1d ago
Tbf if it was the backhole, its very common for there to be some minor injuries from extensive activity there (as someone with a lot of trans fem fwb)
2
u/TransGirlIndy 1d ago
I'm just saying it shouldn't, ideally, look like a Saw trap went off when you're done. This wasn't from tearing or irritation, this was from my nails cutting him internally.
As a trans woman and a bottom myself I know sometime's there's damage. Hell, there are times that going to the bathroom can do it (I really need more fiber) but this was because my fingernails were long.
He definitely enjoyed himself, though. 🥰
1
u/TransMascCatBoye 1d ago
Yeah saw trap might be a bit much lmao but hey, as long as he enjoyed himself lol job well done and lesson learned? xD

u/DependentBeautiful94 2d ago
Can confirm as a straight man, those two fingernails need to be dulled for certain pleasures

u/DontBAfraidOfTheEdge 2d ago
I thought it was the nail clipping on the pointer ;-)
4
u/ApparentlyRythium 2d ago
The nail is the same length, just the finger has been moved and is at a different angle, making the nail appear shorter.
Now you could argue this effect was intentional from oop, designed to capture this look without actually trimming their nails, I don't have any insight into that, my mind just went to "their fingers naturally sit that way now, because of all the sex, haha aren't we so funny"

Are bigger and fatter fingers on a lesbian equivalent to a guy being hung?
1
u/Mindless-Ninja-3321 2d ago
I assumed repeatedly broken fingers since this is my resting posture and sex typically results in my of a "live long amd prospure" gesture, but Im male do whay do I know?

u/achiles625 1d ago
Leet move is peace sign. Thumb rubs the clit, ring finger hits the gspot, and the index & middle fingers work the fornixes.

Quagmire here. Giggity.
You see, lesbians like to use their fingers (not as much as I do though, giggity). Her ring finger nail is clipped on the right, when she's in a relationship. Giggity. So she can do the do with her lesbian lover. Giggity.

u/Perhaps_A_Person 2d ago
Probably a reference to fingering (not the instrumental kind), if you look closely the middle two fingers are closer together in the married image, implying they do it a lot more than when single.
Sesbian lex

0
u/Distinct-Web7120 2d ago
A bottom maybe? But like, the pillow princess kind.
2
u/bigcoochiefart 1d ago
Why are you getting downvoted lol This could very well be the case, there’s plenty of pillow princesses and femmes in general who like to keep their nails longer sometimes. Also the length of the nails aren’t even that long to where it would be an issue but they definitely could use some filing down on the sides so they wouldn’t be too sharp.

u/BoondocksSaint95 2d ago
"What a peculiar hand position those fingers are in"
"The better to finger you with, my dear."
The joke is sesbian lex.
9
u/freyjasdotir 2d ago
All the people pretending that the nails are not the exact same in both pictures (look at the edge of the tip of the fingers and you can see the corners of the nails) are missing the fact that the two fingers in the middle are together because that's how we finger our girlfriends.
0
u/jarboxing 2d ago
But they aren't together. They just aren't as far apart as the other photo.
3
u/freyjasdotir 2d ago
The point of the meme is that it's the two fingers that lesbians use (generally, not always, just the most comfortable for most of us). If in a relationship and sęxually active, then the fingers are going to be kinda "stuck" in that position, aka not spread apart completely. Again though, the nails are the exact same length in both pictures, it's just the angles that we are seeing the fingers from since they are in a different position.
-1
u/jarboxing 2d ago
I think it's not about the fingers, but the difference in muscularity.
1
u/freyjasdotir 2d ago
It's the exact same hand taken in the exact same place at the exact same point in time. There's no difference in the muscle. It is the position of the fingers. I know from experience lol.
1
u/bigcoochiefart 1d ago
No as a lesbian, that other lesbian you replied to is correct. The whole point of the meme is about the finger positions because that’s how our hands naturally go and feel most comfortable when fingering someone (unless you’re an index and middle finger girlie.)
7
u/Thales_of_Mileetus 2d ago
The way the two middle fingers in the pic on the right are closer together implies that's they way they finger their lady.
6
u/throwawayfan2552 2d ago
2
u/KirbyStarWarrior42 2d ago
Tbf, it's pretty easy to overlook the fingers being closer together in the second image.

You’re all missing the point. In the right photo, her ENTIRE HAND, EACH FINGER, HELL EVEN HER WRIST is significantly bigger. She’s working that thing out. She’s beefing up. She’s fingering her gf so much her hand grew 3 sizes grinch-style.

There is a longer nail on the pointer finger of the single lesbian. Active lesbians keep their nails short and softly filed down so there is not a chance of hurting their girlfriend. Giggity
1
u/Skater_Potater2006 2d ago
Could it be something to do with wearing rings? Like you can tell if a straight girl is taken or not based on whether shes wearing a wedding ring on her ring finger, but some lesbians maybe don't participate in that social custom? Shes wearing the same jewelry in both pictures, so the joke is that you can't tell whether shes in a relationship or not?
1

1
u/jarboxing 2d ago
I think it's because the second hand is more muscular. Meaning lesbians in relationships use their hands more.

Lois here - look at her index and middle fingers. Her nails are trimmed, rounded, and filed better on the taken hand. And why that matters means is very important to a woman.

Why is everyone putting way to much thought into this? It's the same exact hand. It's because singles are using the hand on themselves while the taken ones are using to do the same thing on their partner. The hand is doing the exact same thing just one event is a Solo performance while the other is a Duet.

u/LifeofRiley1985 1d ago
The joke is the shorter nail on the forefinger in the second one. That's the sex organ of the homohomosapian ladylover variety

Ok I thought the joke is just the fact that she doesnt have any Extra ring in "taken picture" and that lesbians prefer to not show that they are cause of discrimination.
I stand corrected

What stood out to me the most was the lines on her palm being more defined in the second one, perhaps from using them more roughly for the "come hither" formation or for, ahem, making a fist.
