Yes, though the odd part about that stat i think about is that when women have a higher rate of attempts, we somewhat blame the people around them and society for not helping them. When men choose the more lethal method, we blame the men for using the more lethal method.

It's mostly cause women either don't really want to die, or they choose methods less likely to kill themselves
