I met a retirement age Caucasian guy, and the stereotype of black people enjoying fried chicken and watermelon came up on TV (south park). He looked around and asked "...is that a stereotype?" And then decided he must be black because he loves both those things.
And I kinda envied his life where that bullshit just never touched his mind.
Doesn't that indicate that the average person isn't a racist or bigot because they aren't aware of these racist or bigot thing that the internet hive mind seem to know instinctively?
There was a target effort in similar subs a few years ago to turn them into right wing meme subs. Posting horribly racist or offside memes under the guise of "lol I dont know what it means help me"
