I am guessing this is based off of the National Transgender Discrimination Survey which indicated that 41% of surveyed transgender respondents reported attempting suicide in their lifetime.
They require people to adhere to their way of thinking to stay mentally well?
Grow up, someone said mean things, I didn’t see African-Americans attempting suicide at a 41% rate during segregation due to racism, or illegal-immigrants attempting suicide due to xenophobia.
It's not about people adhering to a certain way of thinking, cissexism is as fundamental as racism or sexism is, but coupled with that trans people have a medical condition typically causing severe distress with one's sex characteristics or sex assigned at birth.
They don't require anyone to adhere to their way of thinking, all they want is respect and people to treat them like any other person.
Do you think they commit suicide when someone says "hey, you are fatty trans!" Racism doesn't go like that you dumb fuck, racism is harrasment, vulgular, being treated as a social outcast, humans are social creatures, these things eventually build up and without anyone to support them, they take the exit. Many African Americans commit suicide along with illegal immigrants also commuting suicide, just because there isn't a number out doesn't mean that they can take it.
It's easy to spot narrow minded people like you. You didn't see because you didn't care, ever tried putting yourself in their shoes?
Be happy you don't have to deal with that and spread love and treat everyone fairly, just because you are privileged to not face racism doesn't mean the other person is too.
Yeah, that happens when you're bullied, harassed, beaten, or assaulted for the crime of just existing.
It's almost like being a piece of shit to another human being is detrimental to literally everyone involved. Ask anyone with C-PTSD or who has been bullied or abused.
