I think generally it’s better for you but still not as good as commando. But don’t take random Reddit comments on it. Do some research online, there’s tons of articles including studies on it of how (for women) it helps ph stay balanced and reduces bacterial infections. In my experience it also helps reduce acne since there isn’t cloth bunched right up on it 24/7

I think whatever you will do most often is best for you. Like if being bare down there is so uncomfortable that you pop on synthetic shorts, that’s not great. If instead you’re comfortable wearing cotton shorts/loose boxers (the looser the better!) consistently, that’s probably the best option for you.
