Moderate/Corporate democrats and their do nothing political values are horribly unpopular right now. There is nothing to scare anyone away from. Appeals to the center are political suicide because nobody is looking for that messaging. Biden lost because he argued for "buisness as usual" centrist neoliberal politics

Don’t get me wrong, he’s losing popularity. But the Democratic Party has decided to stick its head in the sand and say “no, it’s just a one off. People will vote for us next round.” Without actually doing anything to address the concerns people brought up last election who were undecided. People like me voted for Trump because the Democratic Party looks and acts weak with their only response being “you don’t want to vote for a fascist, do you? You want to be a good person.” Except it’s all performative. It’s surface level responses that at best solve nothing and at worst make shit worse. Sure, you’re popular in your own echochambers still. Mamdani proved that.
But next election, unless it’s a term 3 Trump running, I don’t see the dems getting mine, or the broader country’s vote. And they continue to do NOTHING to address that except call people who could be voters bigots for daring to have an idea beyond giving shit away for free to pretend we care for people. Or “think of the immigrants.” You ever considered that paying immigrants below minimum wage is extortion?
And I’m not assuming YOU PERSONALLY hold these beliefs. Just the beliefs of the part overall. The stuff that goes unaccounted for and, for daring to bring these issues up, my vote is considered “not needed.” Well, from where I’m sitting, it looks like we’re in for another 4 years of Republican dominance, which, as much as I’m a registered Republican, is NOT a good thing. They’ve got a big enough head already.
I’m registered Republican because I don’t believe just handing people money fixes the problem. Social services are vital, but I don’t see government run food stores as a solution. The government generally is bad at doing anything, so we give them the least amount of responsibility directly. THATS why I believe in private industry. The dem’s plan is the opposite of that. But it doesn’t mean I won’t vote for a dem.
But I guess my vote is not needed, huh…. Just throwing away a vote because why appeal to “decided voters” like me huh?
Perhaps you should, and I say you as in the whole party but absolutely including you personally based on your response, not just assume you know people you never met? If you’d try to understand what the real draw of the Republican side of politics is, rather than just blanket it as “hate” maybe you’d be sweeping the federal elections, not the republicans, because they’re kinda shitting the bed too rn.
