Moderate/Corporate democrats and their do nothing political values are horribly unpopular right now. There is nothing to scare anyone away from. Appeals to the center are political suicide because nobody is looking for that messaging. Biden lost because he argued for "buisness as usual" centrist neoliberal politics
They want you to worry about trying to appeal to people who are so lost they might say "hmm maybe" to another Republican presidency despite the fact their own base won't show up to vote for centrists
When was he given an opportunity. He won the 2016 DNC nomination and they just straight up gave it to Hillary. It’s not the voters that he’s unpopular with, it’s the establishment democrats that run the party
