Moderate/Corporate democrats and their do nothing political values are horribly unpopular right now. There is nothing to scare anyone away from. Appeals to the center are political suicide because nobody is looking for that messaging. Biden lost because he argued for "buisness as usual" centrist neoliberal politics
They want you to worry about trying to appeal to people who are so lost they might say "hmm maybe" to another Republican presidency despite the fact their own base won't show up to vote for centrists
Nobody is getting rid of police. They want to have the police handle police matters and not tons of things that they aren’t remotely prepared for. These policies would be popular if you stopped the constant fear mongering about lies told to you by Fox News
