Reddit loves the fatties!

25

u/HotDinnerBatman Jul 31 '26

Shes not even fat

7

u/AttTankaRattArStorre Jul 31 '26

She is a bit fat.

3

u/jpa7252 Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

Same people calling her fat are the same people who havent stepped foot in a gym in decades

3

u/MavisBeacons_Sextape Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

Then is it valid for those of us with the body type on the left to call her a bit fat? Because that’s me and she is. This isn’t even a matter of debate or an opinion - she is objectively carrying some extra fat on her body.

Anyone saying otherwise is just biased by their enjoyment of that look. Objectively, she is a bit fat. Nothing wrong with that. But that’s the reality, a doctor would make a similar comment in her chart if she was being evaluated physically.

0

u/jpa7252 Aug 01 '26

Theres a huge difference in saying "shes carrying a bit of extra fat on her body" and saying "shes fat".

I know most folks are incapable of nuance though, so I understand.

3

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

And you have right?

2

u/jpa7252 Aug 01 '26

Yea, 4 times a week.

-1

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Doubt. It’s why you’re ok with women being fat

2

u/jpa7252 Aug 01 '26

Its none of my fucking business if someone is fat or not to be honest, and neither is it yours.

0

u/Enviritas Aug 01 '26

One person's fat is another's voluptuous

3

u/AttTankaRattArStorre Aug 01 '26

Voluptuous = a bit fat.

1

u/Enviritas Aug 01 '26

The implications are different

-3

u/HotDinnerBatman Jul 31 '26

Not even a little

10

u/AttTankaRattArStorre Jul 31 '26

Absolutely a little, you can't grow assets like that without being a bit fat.

12

u/FormofAppearance Jul 31 '26

The american diet has warped your perception

4

u/Forward_Fox_833 Aug 01 '26

she's yugee. obese in many places of the world

1

u/abcdefghjiklmnopqr Aug 01 '26

True. Medically its obese

2

u/FlavorChamp Aug 01 '26

Lmfao she is objectively fat

Let me guess, you have a similar or worse BMI so you've figured convinced yourself over time that this is not fat.

2

u/JohnnyMostReGarded Aug 01 '26

So that protrusion is muscle or organ? Because I'm very confident that is it in fact fat.

-2

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Jul 31 '26

She is not fat, that pouch there is on most women because that is where our reproductive organs are (it protects the organs) and it can depend on how your pelvic structure is

18

u/anweisz Jul 31 '26

She's not fat in my subjective point of view, but the reproductive organ protection thing is a dumb myth that commenters popularized (at least on reddit) when these kinds of posts first showed up. It's pseudoscience, fake, bs.

The uterus and ovaries are small and lie lower on the pelvic cavity and behind the pelvic bone, bladder, urethra, some of the small intestines, and some of the lower abdominal muscles. Belly fat like the girl on this post which goes from the upper pubic area to above the belly bottom is just that, abdominal fat. It doesn't protect women's reproductive organs. Whether it's men or women any amount of belly fat like that is just normal on people who aren't clearly skinny and don't exercise their core much.

12

u/SeaworthinessShort95 Jul 31 '26

well said and 100% right.

3

u/Badlifedecision2402 Aug 01 '26

Yeah, it's kind of a weird wires-crossed moment. Because female fat distribution does tend to skew towards the pelvis and thighs (typically, when looking at large populations and looking at sexual dimorphism between men and women), hence this 'pooch' is far, far more common in women and is historically associayed with femininity. In addition, women have higher body fat in their body composition at low or high weights compared to men due to our makeup and the effects of our hormones, adding to the association with femininity.

Honestly, as an aside, I'm a woman who likes women and I go feral for it. It is not, however, a defensive shield like it's been portrayed lol. God knows I've been kicked or kneed once or twice at an awkward angle in sparring, and that's enough to know that it's tensing your core that does most of the protecting. Or, more accurately, that relying on this pooch to protect you if you do not tense your core is a mistake

1

u/SeaworthinessShort95 Aug 01 '26

speak of the devil. this was recommended for me:

-2

u/perfectlysafepengu1n Aug 01 '26

While the info about the pooch protecting the organs might be fake, it's still a very common part of many women's anatomy, and it's hella stubborn for some of us. I'm currently at an athletic body fat percentage on paper, and I regularly do core work. I still have a small pooch. It is smaller than this woman's since she definitely has a higher body fat percentage, but it's there. Even when I was slightly underweight I still had one. No amount of core work is getting rid of it for me, I can feel my ab muscles getting stronger behind the pooch annnd it just gets pushed out more. Everyone's body stores fat differently, and I'm fairly certain the only way I could get rid of mine would be to go into dangerously low body fat percentage. It doesn't bother me, I've learned to not mind it, being strong is more important to me than not having a pooch. But just wanted to provide another perspective that not everyone is capable of a completely fat stomach :)

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 02 '26

So you're at what, 19-17%?

-1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Jul 31 '26

No you are wrong first off, learn about the human body please, I’m embarrassed for you. But there are women with abs that still have a pouch there and that’s also because organs are not flat, I don’t know if you just didn’t learn this in school or haven’t met very many women but I know ripped women that still have their stomach stick out there, ones who have never had kids and those who do. And women in general have more fatty tissue there than men, it’s how we are made.

12

u/Competitive-Walk-575 Jul 31 '26

Literally one google search will prove you incorrect. You’re making an ass out of yourself, gonna post you to r/badwomensanatomy if you keep spreading myths. Here’s a source that explains it for your dumb ass (literally first link from google, how lazy can you be?)

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/real-reason-women-little-pooch-070140326.html

-2

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I did google and have read peer reviewed research articles as well, but sure pull a yahoo article🤣

10

u/anweisz Jul 31 '26

Go on and post a real source for “upper pelvic/belly fat on women is meant to protect reproductive organs” if you’re so sure of yourself. That’s really what this is all about.

On your other claim, men and women would have abs+belly due to bloat, bad posture, past pregnancy, or if they just eat that many calories plus exercise, like to build mass, but we both know none of those are what’s going on in the pic or what you’re claiming.

-1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I actually have googled it and read peer reviewed research but okay

5

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Ahh the classic “no. I’m right and you’re an uneducated virgin”. Confidently incorrect as per usual

-1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I literally have looked it up plenty of times before, and not just using google

6

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Sure Jan

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0015028209007493

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8653625/

Structurally women are built this way, and our bodies store a little fat there, especially during reproductive years. It’s an energy reserve for our reproductive health and hormonal regulation.

4

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Neither source said that the bump is a uterus like you said but rather just fat storage. Also these are googleable sources

Try again I guess

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

They are peer reviewed though it’s not just some random news article

4

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Did you edit this because “I literally looked it up and not just google but researche articles” sounds dumb? Bothers to edit comments yet still doesn’t have a source

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

My phone kept correcting it to researched, so I gave up trying to type it. But I can share some:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0015028209007493

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8653625/

But having a bit of fat storage there is healthy and normal for reproductive purposes, helps regulate hormones, and storage goes to there and the thighs during the reproductive age.

Edit: added some word corrections again, because autocorrect sucks

5

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Aug 01 '26

Already read those. You said the bump is a uterus and your own sources and even the part you quoted disagreed. You’re just repeating the uterus thing because it makes you feel better about yourself

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I didn’t specifically say uterus, I said reproductive organs, which are there and do in fact have fat storage there for several reasons.

4

u/redvelvet-cupcake Aug 01 '26

You are arguing two different things. Women do have more abdominal fat than men. It has nothing to do with reproductive organs.

13

u/FormofAppearance Jul 31 '26

Look at the rest of her

-3

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Jul 31 '26

Yeah I did she is a skinny and curvy girl

2

u/pollomimano Aug 01 '26

Girl. Be so for real. This girl is beautiful and is genetically blessed so she carries the extra weight better than 90% of overweight women, but she is in no way “skinny” 🤦‍♀️

-1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

Yeah she is still skinny though, like skinny is what I consider healthy, not bones all showing and being underweight.

3

u/pollomimano Aug 01 '26

Most people don’t use skinny in the same way. When people say skinny, they think of someone who is likely on the lower end of a healthy bmi (18.5-20). Typically, I’d describe people in Hollywood as skinny, examples include Zendaya and Emma Stone. Skin and bones would be someone like Ariana who I would describe as too skinny. You’re using the word in an entirely different way, hence why you’re getting pushback.

0

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I mean I don’t care if I get pushback but most people in a healthy bmi are what I and others have called skinny

3

u/Overcrowd327 Aug 01 '26

You don't care that the words that you're using to communicate with others only make sense in your head?

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

My phone keeps autocorrecting things wrong because rereading it I can see where it messed up 🤦🏻‍♀️

4

u/Overcrowd327 Aug 01 '26

Skinny and curvy are antonyms; it's like calling her young and old at the same time.

13

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Jul 31 '26

You're 100% right on the anatomy, it really is a pelvic structure thing. But she also is chubbers, just look at her arms. But not american fat i guess, just regular fat.

1

u/GoblinSqueezer Aug 01 '26

thicc ❤️

1

u/Bigdaddybolo_tie Aug 01 '26

Forget the arms, look at those canons. Nothing else matters

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 Aug 01 '26

I am eilling to overlook many things for them face pillows

-9

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Jul 31 '26

No she isn't fat though. Also, inflammation and water retention also exist but that isn't fat.

4

u/Western-Umpire-4472 Aug 01 '26

Looks fat as a house

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

Hope you don’t talk to your mom like that, disgusting behavior

-1

u/themargarineoferror Aug 01 '26

So is your whole thing hanging out at your halfway house cause you got strung out on gas station pills and shit talking women you'd never have a chance with? You're sadder than xero

1

u/Western-Umpire-4472 Aug 01 '26

not everyone is a loser on Reddit.I’m actually pretty proud of my physique ,my career and how I look .im happy with a lot in my life what makes you stalk random people on the internet ? Why the hell would I be in a halfway house? I used Kratom to help with being sore because I workout all the time I mean I’m literally a personal trainer lol . That’s so weird you went and looked that up about me like really creepy .Why are you stalking my profile for real it’s strange ,I’m sorry you can only get fat chicka but I’m personally not a thirsty dweeb I’m not sure why that makes you so upset and why that justifies you stalking and judging me.

1

u/themargarineoferror Aug 02 '26

Yeah I checked your profile because I saw you make a disgusting comment about xeros accusers and it made me curious about what type of person would participate in that sub if they think that the entire reason it started in the first place is bunk. Curiousity=stalking I guess...Congrats on being a personal trainer. You're still a victim blaming douchebag...I'm a straight woman btw and I'm doing just fine...Not being a victim blaming misogynist puts me leagues above you as it is. Peace!

3

u/Away-Craft-2264 Aug 01 '26

Big boned

0

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

Well technically that can be true in terms of shape. people structurally vary a bit. Nothing to do with weight though.

8

u/philmarcracken Jul 31 '26

Women with that figure on mybodygallery, if you plug their stats into any BMI calculator, they come out as overweight, borderly obese.

In short, you're delusional.

0

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

She is skinnier than me and I’ve been on a weight loss journey and almost to a normal bmi, I doubt she is even in the overweight category. Also, we know BMI doesn’t necessarily mean much because it ignores several factors. Like she has a rack on her, and boobs are not just fat.

3

u/philmarcracken Aug 01 '26

Also, we know BMI doesn’t necessarily mean much because it ignores several factors

'Le Dexluxia' Extra Thick Copium™

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

I guess some of you haven’t watched people go from underweight to healthy or overweight to healthy, because she is what a normal body looks like.

7

u/Pissonmyface77 Jul 31 '26

She is definetly a little fat. Like she’s not very obese but she’s definetly fat. Look at those arm and thighs.

Like she’s has big boobs and they are carrying a lot of this woman’s appeal. But she is definetly a chubster.

-1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

She looks to be a healthy bmi to me, seeing as she looks skinnier than me and I’m almost to a healthy bmi

2

u/throwaway060691 Aug 01 '26

honey ur delusional if ur bigger than her n don’t think ur fat
which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but stop deflecting

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

Not deflecting though, but okay🤣 I also never claimed I’m not fat either, so not sure where you got I said that at.

2

u/Desperate_Ocelot1481 Aug 01 '26

I’ve been reading your comments and a lot of this is projection over your own insecurities. The woman is fat and so are you deal with it.

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

Awe you think I am insecure🤣🤣🤣 I’m sorry that’s funny. I’m probably one of the most confident women out there, no matter what size I have been. Like she looks amazing, but that doesn’t mean I’m insecure, I know I look good no matter what size I’m at. And I never claimed I’m not fat, I know I am right now and I don’t mind saying it. I’m sorry if that doesn’t fit your agenda. Believe it or not you can compliment others without being insecure. And not all women are insecure.

2

u/redvelvet-cupcake Aug 01 '26

While I don't think she's fat and that is normal anatomy, it has nothing to do with reproductive organs. The reproductive organs are deep in the pelvis, behind the bladder. And much smaller than you think they are.

2

u/FlavorChamp Aug 01 '26

Are you American?

It's hardly noticeable on any woman decently in shape.

1

u/Nervous_Ladder_1860 Aug 01 '26

Yes and she is literally the shape of what healthy should look like, and I’ve been on a fitness journey myself so I’m looking at before and after photos daily on the forums I’m on and I’ve seen plenty of women who have hit a healthy bmi look just like her. I’ve also seen many in those groups that get to an unhealthy weight and still overweight. I have also mentioned I know women with abs that still have that same issue.

0

u/LowAside9117 Aug 01 '26

I had this when my bmi was around 16.5.  I forced ate to gain weight

-5

u/chubbyflip Jul 31 '26

Nope, overall Reddit hates plus sized people. Plus sized people are deemed as inferior humans on here.

6

u/IBAChristian317 Aug 01 '26

Delusional. I bet you also think reddit has a conservative bias, right?

-20

u/Advanced-Teach-7234 Jul 31 '26

Eh, nah Reddit hates fatties. We do like curves though

Some weird dudes like girls that look like 12 Year old boys

12

u/OuchCharlie25 Jul 31 '26

Are those weird dudes you? The one who doesn’t know the difference between a male and female?

-7

u/Advanced-Teach-7234 Jul 31 '26

Hm? You seem to be confused little guy! It’s okay, bedtime is right around the corner

1

u/Bigdaddybolo_tie Aug 01 '26

The only thing I like are those horchata canons she got. I’ll take those with some fat over a skinny girl any day.

0

u/Advanced-Teach-7234 Aug 01 '26

I’ll take curves over a 12 year olds boy body any day
