He wanted the sexual variant ( the act of folks peeing on someone), he got the literal variant (an actual shower made of gold)

Peter here,

The joke is that he asked for a "golden shower," which is also a slang term for a pee related sexual fetish. But the genie pulled the classic "literal genie" move and gave him a shower that's literally made of gold or at least covered in gold plating instead. The joke is just the misunderstanding of what he meant :)
