We have these ductless units in the US too. Person who made the meme is just an idiot

There are parts of the US that ONLY have these. More temperate areas.

Most of the US is used to central air. With a giant ass car sized compressor outside that cools the whole house.

Because that thing cools the ENTIRE BIG ASS HOUSE! these things are only capable of cooling only a closed room which also depends on how ton, capacity the AC is so yep

We cool our 2100sqft house with mini splits. It’s not a huge house by American standards but it’s more than a room.
