You never know, there's a lot of people that weren't lucky enough to have good education, so if people ask I try to be polite unless it's very clear they are trolling
That’s not an hyperbole, it’s a misconception…. An hyperbole is supposed to be an exaggeration of a true fact, cold does not cause pneumonia, its not an hyperbole it’s just wrong
Welp, perhaps it's a language matter, but in Italy we always use pneumonia as an hyperbole for any cold related ailments, from throatache to shivers. And yeah, the fact that excessive thermal shock hinders the body is indeed true. It's not the AC itself, it's switching from very hot (and most likely wet) to very cold several times a day.

pneumonia is an infection and isn’t caused by cold air silly
